Head on to Boschendal Wine Estate in Franschhoek for a leisurely lunch (with picnic option), then cross the scenic Helshoogte Pass towards Stellenbosch, stopping at Delaire Graff Estate for breathtaking views if time allows. After a short drive through Stellenbosch, end your experience with a decadent brandy and chocolate pairing at the famous Van Ryn’s Brandy Distillery, before returning to Cape Town.

This tour is not available on Christmas Day. This experience can be cancelled without costs until 30 days before arrival. If cancellation is submitted after this time, the property will charge 100% of the experience value. Bookings for the experience must be booked with the property reception at least 30 days prior to arrival. Changes or cancellations of the experience will be facilitated directly by the guest and the Supplier. In terms of the Supplier cancellation policy, 50% of the tour cost will be refunded by Cape Sidecar Adventures if cancellation is between 7 days and 3 days prior to commencement of the tour. If the tour is cancelled less than 72 hours prior to commencement of the tour, there is no refund. One person is on the seat behind the driver, and one person is in the sidecar. The tour includes use of all riding gear (leather jackets, helmets, goggles) and complimentary bandanas. All rates exclude entry-fees, toll-fees, tasting fees, guests’ meals. There is no age restriction on the sidecars and riding gear for children is provided. Children below 12 years need to be accompanied by at least one adult. There is no charge for children under 5 years, but they must sit on the adult’s lap in sidecar. Rain/Dangerous Weather Policy: If there is a possibility of rain/dangerous weather conditions on the day of the tour, clients can decide, at the latest, by 4.00pm the day before the tour, to either: Elect to take the tour/transfer at a later date agreed upon by Cape Sidecar Adventures and the client or use the credit available towards a future sidecar outing, elect to take the planned tour/transfer with wet-weather gear provided by Cape Sidecar Adventures. (If this option is taken, a back-up vehicle at the client’s cost is recommended) or elect to accept a full refund if booking cannot be rescheduled. After the client has agreed to commence with the tour/transfer (either verbally or in writing), Cape Sidecar Adventures will have no financial obligation towards the client should the weather be rainy. Whilst Cape Sidecar Adventures will make every effort to follow the agreed itinerary on the day, it is understood that re-routing may become necessary due to circumstances beyond their control. (e.g.: road closures, traffic congestion, unsafe conditions, unanticipated breakdowns. Delayed Pick-up policy: Cape Sidecar Adventures allows a 30-minute leeway with agreed pick-up/reboarding times throughout the tour. Should the client/client’s group exceed this leeway, after being verbally informed of the consequences, Cape Sidecar Adventures can choose to either withdraw the sidecars & terminate the tour with no refund, or choose to wait, with an additional charge of R300/sidecar per 30 minutes being levied.
