A daily programme for all ages runs throughout your stay, with Fred's dance and story time for the children, bingo and board games for everyone. Today's times are displayed at the resort and available at reception.

Rooms 101 to 115 welcome dogs, with bedding, a fleece blanket and food and water bowls provided, a WOOF Welcome Kit on arrival and the Bon-A-Pet-Treat Menu at Palm Terrace.

Cast a line from the designated fishing areas on the beach in front of the resort, with shad, stumpnose and kob among the likely catches along this stretch of coast. A valid South African recreational fishing permit is required for shore angling.

A pool table, arcade games, an indoor trampoline and a jungle gym keep every age busy, with board games available from reception too. A good option for rainy afternoons and for the hour before dinner when the beach has worn everyone out.

A 24-hour front desk with concierge and luggage storage, free Wi-Fi in all areas, free secure parking including undercover bays, a minimarket and room service. Laundry, dry cleaning, grocery delivery, car hire and an airport shuttle are available at an additional charge.

The Fred First Kids Club and a daily kids’ programme keep younger guests busy, and babysitting can be arranged at an additional charge with at least 24 hours’ notice.

Live entertainment runs every Friday night and Sunday afternoon, alongside the resort’s daily programme. Settle in on the pool deck or at the Beach Bar with a sundowner and let somebody else provide the soundtrack to your evening.

La Vita Spa offers massages, facials, manicures, pedicures and couples’ treatments, with single and couples treatment rooms, a Jacuzzi, a sauna and a relaxation area. Open daily from 08:00 to 22:00, so there’s time for a treatment even after dinner.

Two outdoor pools, a main pool for all ages and a shallow kids’ pool, both open all year and unheated, with sun loungers and pool towels on the ocean-facing pool deck.
