For a conference, celebration or country wedding with a view, Qwantani is a destination with a difference. Set on the banks of Sterkfontein Dam with the mountains of the northern Drakensberg on the horizon, about 3½ hours from Johannesburg and 4 from Durban, the resort pairs scenic event venues with everything a multi-day gathering needs: on-site catering, self-catering chalet accommodation for the whole delegation or wedding party, secure parking and a resort full of activities for the in-between hours.
Every venue hire includes selected equipment, data projector, lectern, PA system, microphones and projector screens, with special requests arranged as and when you need them. Our professional on-site team offers as little or as much assistance as you want.

Our Venues
Every venue can be configured to suit your event: cinema, schoolroom, banquet, cocktail, boardroom or horseshoe style.
Qwantani Conference Room – The resort's dedicated 90 m² conference venue, seating up to 60 cinema-style, 50 for banquets or 20 in boardroom configuration, with equipment included.
“Marshall” Eagle Restaurant (private hire) – Host a banquet for up to 80 or a cocktail function for 60 in the resort's 102 m² lakeside restaurant, with the kitchen on your doorstep.
Harbour View Lapa – Qwantani's largest venue at 200 m², an indoor space hosting banquets for up to 120 and cocktail functions for 80, built for gala dinners, year-end functions and wedding receptions with the dam right outside.
